Why I Changed the Cover of Best Left Unsaid...

Book covers are the silent messengers of a story. They speak before a single word can be read while offering a glimpse into the emotional undercurrent of the pages within. When I first released Best Left Unsaid, I loved the original cover. However, as time passed, I realised that while beautiful, the cover didn't fully reflect the heart of the narrative. The shift in style has allowed the story's cleaner and more straightforward message to be seen- this stripped-back cover suggests the absence, loss, and memory. The story centres on the quiet complexities of family, the things we hold back, and the grief we carry without words. The changes felt more symbolic of that emotional weight—what's been lost, what remains unsaid. Rain remains the same… Rain is still there, misting the background, echoing the tone of introspection and emotional tension that runs through the book. That didn't change—because some moods are too intrinsic to be let go. A more refined, timeless feel. ...
