The Cinema Museum

The cinema museum is a museum and charitable organisation in Kennington, London, UK. The museum is full of inspiration and interesting collections from film history. It’s collection was founded in 1986 by Ronald Grant and Martin Humphries, from their own private collection of cinema history and memorabilia. During the tour which I was lucky enough to be part of, we were treat to a short documentary about Charlie Chaplin and the build it’s self. It’s current building was once a workhouse where Charlie Chaplin lived as a child. They provide guided tours that can be book via the website. They are currently trying to raise money to buy the build and keep its doors open. As a filmmaker or someone interested in cinematic history this would be a enjoyable visit.
